EZTax is a Nigerian tax operating system built to make tax filing simple, accurate, and accessible for every taxpayer in Nigeria — from salary earners to SME owners, freelancers to corporate entities.
Our Mission
Nigeria's tax system is undergoing a major transformation with the Nigeria Tax Act (NTA) 2025. EZTax exists to bridge the gap between complex tax legislation and the everyday taxpayer. We believe that if filing is simple, more Nigerians will file — and that benefits everyone.
What We Do
- Personal Income Tax (PIT) — Compute and file your PIT returns with the latest NTA 2025 tax bands, consolidated relief allowance, and state-specific rules for all 36 states plus FCT Abuja.
- Value Added Tax (VAT) — Track taxable supplies, compute VAT liability at 7.5%, and manage exempt/zero-rated items.
- Withholding Tax (WHT) — Record WHT deductions, generate credit notes, and offset credits against your PIT or CIT liability.
- Company Income Tax (CIT) — Compute CIT at the applicable rate (0% for small companies under ₦25M turnover, 20% for medium, 30% for large) plus the Tertiary Education Tax and Development Levy.
- Document Management — Upload payslips, invoices, and receipts. Our OCR technology extracts key figures automatically.
NTA 2025 Compliant
Our tax engine is built on the Nigeria Tax Act 2025, which replaced the previous Personal Income Tax Act (PITA), Companies Income Tax Act (CITA), and VAT Act. Key changes we incorporate:
- New ₦800,000 annual tax-free threshold for all resident individuals
- Revised Consolidated Relief Allowance (CRA): ₦200,000 + 20% of gross income
- Updated PIT graduated bands (25% top rate for income above ₦3.2M)
- Small company CIT exemption for turnover under ₦25 million
- Development Levy: 4% of assessable profit for companies
- VAT remains at 7.5% with expanded exemption list

EZTax helps you calculate, prepare, and organize your tax returns. For official submission to the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), you'll use the official TaxProMax Portal. EZTax generates the exact figures and forms you need, making the submission process quick and error-free.
