About EZTax
EZTax is a Nigerian tax operating system built to make tax preparation simple, accurate, and accessible for every taxpayer in Nigeria — from salary earners to SME owners, freelancers to corporate entities.
Our Mission
Nigeria's tax system is undergoing a major transformation with the Nigeria Tax Act (NTA) 2025. EZTax exists to bridge the gap between complex tax legislation and the everyday taxpayer. We believe that if tax preparation is simple, more Nigerians can file correctly through official government channels.
What We Do
- Personal Income Tax (PIT) — Compute and prepare your PIT returns with the NTA 2025 tax bands and supported deductions and credits.
- Value Added Tax (VAT) — Track taxable supplies, compute VAT, liability at 7.5%, including exempt and zero-rated calculations.
- Withholding Tax (WHT) — Estimate deductions for common payment types and residency status.
- Document Management — Upload payslips, invoices, and receipts. Our OCR technology extracts key figures automatically.
NTA 2025 Compliant
Our tax engine is built on the Nigeria Tax Act 2025, which replaced the previous Personal Income Tax Act (PITA), Companies Income Tax Act (CITA), and VAT Act. Key changes we incorporate:
- New ₦800,000 annual tax-free threshold for all resident individuals
- Removal of the former Consolidated Relief Allowance (CRA)
- Updated PIT graduated bands (25% top rate above ₦50 million)
- Small company CIT exemption for qualifying companies with turnover up to ₦50 million
- Development Levy: 4% of assessable profit for companies
- VAT remains at 7.5% with expanded exemption list

EZTax is a product of Alpha Libra LLC, a New Jersey-based technology holding company founded by Tola Abrahams. Not a government app
EZTax is a private product of Alpha Libra LLC. It is not affiliated with FIRS, NRS, any State Internal Revenue Service, or any Nigerian government agency. Tax rules shown in the app are for preparation and education — always verify against official government sources before filing.

Tax Submission
EZTax helps you calculate, prepare, and organize your tax returns. For official submission, use government portals such as TaxProMax or your State IRS. EZTax does not transmit filings to government systems. We generate figures and a downloadable package for manual portal entry.
